MEET OUR STAFF
Walter McCutcheon, Senior Minister (pastor, friend, encourager, visionary, right-high reverand to John S. etc.)
Mr.Walter (as most call him) is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University of Science and Arts. He has a bachelor’s degree in both Bible and Psychology and a Masters degree in Ministry. He has served as a missionary, youth minister, fire chaplain and senior minister. Walter is an accomplished musician, public speaker, actor, and songwriter. He also holds a national certification as a soccer goalkeeper coach and currently serves this community as an assistant varsity soccer coach to both young men and women at Lakeshore High School.
Walter is married to Sally (21 years) and is blessed to be Dad to three wonderful, active young men (two in high school and one in the middle school), and one music-loving little girl.
Walter has a strong committed love for Jesus, His church and the Word of God. He strives for transparency, compassion and relevance in his life and teaching.
Jon Hatter, Ministry Assistant
Jon Hatter is from Grant, Michigan. He began to pursue a call to ministry immediately out of High School, attending Great Lakes Christian College and earning his degree in Christian Ministries in 2007. Since this time God has given him the opportunity to work in nearly every facet of ministry: missions and outreach, youth, music, small groups, and preaching. Here at LCC he dabbles in a bit of everything, working mainly with the youth and music ministries.
Jon married his wife, Nicole, in 2007. The two live in South Bend where Jon is a student at the University of Notre Dame.
